Greek/Classical/Egyptian culture in Malaysia

 Golf Club Kuching-Egyption culture

First,this is the golf club Kuching that locate in Sarawak.The  main feature of KGS is its 36-holes golf course, nevertheless it also have a wide range of other sporting and recreational facilities.The building above is the clubhouse that  shape like an outstanding pyramid from the ancient land of the Pharaoh.It is similar to the Egypt's structure highly unusual architecture.The shape is triangle and look stable and unit with the plain white outlook.

IPOH TOWN HALL-Greek Culture

 The Ipoh Town Hall was built in 1916 that designed by A.B Hubback.. This stately colonial building is strongly influenced by classical style.It is an auditorium that hosts many functions like weddings, government events and concerts.Besides that,the building is inspired by Victorian Neo-Renaissance, smattered with hints of Greek and Roman. The gables, which are the triangular structures on the top of the building that enhance the imposing look. The Roman pillars give the building consistency and the horizontal bands that run from one side to the other give it an illusion of grandiose. Go closer to see the finer details of the architecture; the disciplined lines, the sharp edges and the strong elements that form the building.The balcony with its criss-cross pattern call Jharoka that functions as architectural beauty and allows people look out from the inside,without being seen themselves.

Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Building, Doric , Greek culture

Bursa Malaysia established in 1976 (previously known as Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange).The building is the mixture of both classical and modern.The building emphasized  a Greek cross layout, the capitol style of column.The purpose of the design had a political purpose as they ofteh built to celebrate civic power and pride.Those columns that use in the design is DORIC.The Doric style is rather sturdy and its top (the capital), is plain. This style was used in mainland Greece and the colonies in southern Italy and Sicily.

Putrajaya Bridge Pillar, Malaysia.greek culture

It is the main bridge in Putrajaya with a span of 435 meters.This unique twin-deck bridge not only provides vehicle, light rail and pedestrian access, it can also accommodate restaurants with its main pillar supports.The bridge has several Greek architectural characteristics  –  the Hellenic column in particular.The pillars in design in Ionic style.The Ionic style is thinner and more elegant. Its capital is decorated with a scroll-like design (a volute). This style was found in eastern Greece and the islands.

Shah Alam Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Shah Alam, Malaysia.The frame structure is the longest free-standing arc in the world. The design of the stadium is theatres shape.In ancient, The purpose of the theatre Architecture working group (established 2006) is to investigate the ways in which space can be manipulated to bring performers and their audiences together.Therefore, by using this design Shah Alam Stadium can creates a large space to their audiences whenever any sport events.Its very easy to all of the audience to place and watch those match.
