Assigment 1:The shaft of the dead man

For our assg 1 ,we had choose [The shaft of the dead man] for our topic.I had done some researches on it.

First, the CREDIT LINE.

This artwork were created by Magdalenians, which were those person live site of the La Magdale.It had been completed from 15,000 to 17,000 years and discovered at Setemper 12,1940. 

The FOUNDER of this caves was by 4 teenagers,Marcel Racidat,Jacques Marsal,Georges Aguel and Simon Coencas.They reported to their schoolmaster and take care of its during the world wars 2.After the ww2,this caves had been public.12,000 people had visit the caves caused it exploxed too many carbon dioxide and therefor damaged the wall painting.

Moreover, the SCENE of the painting was at the back of chamber of Engraving at the Cave of Lascaux.Many scientists had related it to religion.This was because the CHARACTERISTIC of the painting.There were a human figures and animals in the scene.The human figure was only a simply drawn man without any details.The man lying down in front of the bison.A bison whom injured ans innards are strewn about.It had been drawn in detailed.A bird-like head object was nearby to the man.So, people said that it was some sources of religion event.

Furthermore, the use of the MATERIAL.Those materials were found in the limestone caves by ground into powder by stone pestles and added with water.Colors painted on the wall were followed by the Christopher Scarre principle.

For my own opinion,i feel that those people recorded their important stuff or daily life in a drawing method.This may because at that time they do not master any language and word expressions yet.Hence,they had discover their idea about the painting and those rarity artwork were the only clue to society nowadays to estimate those ancient's lifestyle previously.
